Description:    Employee Benefit Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contacts / cold calls new and established businesses for purposes of placing insurance.
• Sells renewal business to existing clients.
• Assures proper procedures regarding file set up being in compliance with Company standards.
• Develops and maintains an electronic prospect file for new accounts.
• Develops, maintains and documents contacts with prospects in order to gain information.
• Analyzes client needs for alternative carriers selection.
• Conducts sales presentations.
• Maintains contact with insured so that appropriate coverages are in force upon renewal.
• Maintains professional relationships with co-workers to develop internal cross-sell referrals.

Requirements:

• Education
  High school diploma; 4-year degree preferred
• Experience
  Minimum 3 years sales experience in the insurance industry. Only qualified candidates will be considered.
• Other Job Related Requirements
  
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated sales aptitude, including strong persuasive qualities/traits.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be organized and able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer and work processing capabilities.

Location:    Tulsa or Oklahoma City
