Commissions and Fees

Except in cases where PBA has a specific fee agreement to receive compensation from its client, PBA customarily receives compensation from insurers for its professional services in the form of commissions, which consist of a percentage of the premium collected by the insurers. PBA may also receive additional unsolicited compensation, under agreements with one or more insurers and/or insurance intermediaries, in the form of commission or based on premium volume or other similar factors, but not based on contract profitability. PBA does not require or accept override commissions or other compensation as a condition of doing business with an insurance carrier. If PBA is a party to an agreement with an insurer that provides compensation in addition to standard commissions affecting a client's policy, the amount and any effect of such compensation is disclosed by PBA to the client when insurance is placed. At your request, PBA will be pleased to supply further details of any commission, fee, override or other compensation that relates to your account.
